Participating in club basketball takes a great financial commitment. The Onyx Basketball Club strategically coordinates fundraisers to assist parents with that commitment. Athletes pay off their fees and/or travel fees by actively participating in one or all of the fundraisers. 50% of funds raised will go directly to the player's accounts based on the rebates from each fundraiser.
Each player is required to fund-raise a total of $50 (per season) to contribute towards team's gym rental expense. Each fundraiser generates a rebate that will go towards this expense. Funds raised are credited towards the athlete’s accounts and any excess is used to cover the player's fees and travel expenses where applicable. No monies is or can be given directly to athletes. All monies raised must be used for the players participation in the Onyx Basketball programs.
